Why homeApothec exists
Tracy started homeApothec after her family's skin taught her something no skincare brand was willing to say out loud: steroid creams work until they don't, and when they stop, the skin is in a worse position than when you started.
She spent years going from prescription to prescription before deciding that if the right formula didn't exist, she would make it herself. Every product in this range is the answer I wish I had found sooner.

The difference is in the wait
Most botanical extracts are made with heat. Heat is faster and cheaper, and it is also the most efficient way to destroy the delicate plant compounds that make a botanical worth using in the first place. homeApothec uses cold maceration instead — botanicals are submerged in a glycerite base and left to infuse for 8 weeks without heat or distillation. The process is slow by design. What emerges preserves every heat-sensitive compound: a more active, more concentrated formula, and one gentle enough for skin that cannot afford any more aggravation.
