Why you need it

Eczema patches, cracked lip corners, dry elbows, nappy rash — these all need something simple and trustworthy. Most balms are petroleum-based or contain synthetic fragrance that sensitises already reactive skin. Relief Balm is made from four clean ingredients. That's it. Nothing to read the label twice about. Safe enough for a newborn, effective enough for chronic eczema. The kind of product that becomes the thing your family reaches for without thinking — because it works and there's nothing in it to worry about.

Key benefits

Safe for babies from birth
Zero steroids, ever
Multi-use — face, body, baby
Instant soothing on eczema flares
No fragrance, no synthetics
Occlusive barrier protection

The formulation

What's in it and why

Relief Balm is intentionally minimal. Beeswax creates an occlusive seal that protects compromised skin from moisture loss and environmental irritants. Shea butter provides the lipids that sensitive skin needs without risk of irritation. Jojoba oil — technically a wax ester, not an oil — mimics skin structure and helps the balm penetrate without feeling heavy. The calendula-infused oil, slow-infused like all homeApothec formulas, adds anti-inflammatory properties that calm reactive, inflamed skin. No water means no preservatives needed. No preservatives means nothing to sensitise skin that is already struggling.

This is for you if

  • You have eczema patches, reactive skin, or frequent flares
  • You want a single product safe for the whole family including babies
  • You need a targeted rescue balm for dry patches, lips, or cracked skin
  • You want a steroid-free option for daily maintenance and flare management

May not suit you if

  • Your main concern is oily or congested facial skin
  • You need a light non-occlusive texture as your primary daily face product

What customers say

My 4-month-old had a patch of eczema on her cheek. The paediatrician said steroid cream — I wasn't ready for that. Tracy suggested Relief Balm. The patch cleared in 10 days.

The formulation

Why it works

Waterless

No water means every millilitre is active ingredient. No dilution. No preservatives to fight contamination from water.

8-week infusion

Plant compounds need time to fully transfer. We slow-infuse for 8 weeks — not hours — so the concentration is something you can feel.

Steroid-free always

No steroids. No synthetic fragrance. No ingredients your skin has to fight. Just botanicals doing what they were made to do.
